Stop trying to control things you can't control.
The harder you try, the harder it gets.
In wine, there's an old saying, "starve the vine to make great wine". The idea being that the less you feed the vine (with water), the harder it works to survive, strengthening the vine and producing quality grapes.
The vine doesn't control how much water it gets. It responds based on it's unpredictable feeding schedule. As a result, it gets stronger, and survives.
Stop trying to control the things you can't control. Recognize it's existence and adapt. Don't try to change the rain. Just buy an umbrella when it comes.
